Ah, okay, I feel better now. So, I see you live in Canada. Pretty cool. Are PPs the only species you can find there? I've seen other posts from Canadians saying that they can't find anything else at all, and I was wondering.

Yoshi,

Especially pretty cold! haha!

My daughter saw a blue one at the pet shop, it was a 100 bucks! I don't know what is the usual price range for HCs, but it seemed to me to be a little too expensive!

I hope I will be able to find Strawberries! they are so pretty!

Welcome! Nice setup. The more pictures I see, the more I want to upgrade my stuff. For someone new you sure look like you are not a rookie! Are you?

Hi metalshell!

Thank you!

What is a rookie? (forgive me, I am French Canadian and I don't know all the expressions in English)

I have some experience in fish keeping, and had a couple of birds and rodents before. So I ended up with some equipment.

A rookie is someone who is new to something and usually has a lot to learn. An example is a rookie hockey player. A rookie hockey player probably wouldn't have a lot of experience on the ice and he would probably not play as well as a professional because of that. What surprises me is that even though you are new, your setup looks great. I don't think you are a rookie because you look like you have had experience with hermit crabs because your tank looks really well set up. I think you did a good job!

metalshell!

AAhhh! Now I understand... hehehe!

I have been reading intensively on Hermit Crabs since I got them the other day ( a surprise of my 10 yo daughter)... looking at pictures of tank setups and caresheets on them...

I really love animals! I want to do the best possible for them. They are at our mercy when the are captive, we are responsible for their happiness and their well being...

Well it's really nice! Your French is looking good! You can write 'beaucoup" all together in "Merci beaucoup". Cause the way you spelled it, it means "nice shot"! But WOW! It's really good! I mean it!!!

I have a question!

What are the price range for each specy of HCs?

Like: I paid my two PP's 5.99$ CAN. and they are quite small; and I saw bigger ones at 8.99$ CAN.

Is it normal that this blue one was 100.00$ CAN. or was it a total rip off! ???
