Re-burying a molter uncovered by mistake

Post by Christa » Sun Mar 30, 2008 1:24 pm

Hey all,

I was relaying this to another member via PM and realized that it might help other crabbers who happen upon molters by surprise:

"Good news -- my big guy molted perfectly! I surprised him freshly molted and tried something new -- put his exo in a plastic cup, then put him in with it. Then I dug a trench in the ISO tank eco-earth substrate and put the cup in the trench and covered it all with eco-earth. I piled a mound of eco-earth up at the front to block out all light. No sound or bad smell from there yet so I assume he's munching away. :) "
