How to add a second level shell shop?
So.....I kinda want to make a little upper level shell shop for my hermies. I found one of those bird cage feeding bowl things for 99cents on clearance at petsmart when I got Leth the other day, so I took off the metal hanging wires. Only problem now is how and where to put it in my crabitat, since honestly, the crabitats not that big......any suggestions? I'll post a pic of what I'm tLking about later if anyone is confused, but ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated by me and my crabbies!

Don't use metal!!! Metal will rust and it will harm the hermit crabs!!! use a shower basket

If you glue it with a decent amount of aquarium silicone, and set it up in a corner so you have 2 glued sides, it should hold just fine. Trouble is, you'll have to keep the crabitat vented for at least 48 hours, I'd recommend 4-5 days for good measure.
When I took out a divider that I set up in the tank, I would have much sooner broken the glass from the stress, so I had to use a razor blade to cut it out.
