Chirping...is it always a bad sign?
Re: Chirping...is it always a bad sign?
I think that chirping is alright. One of my E's will chirp at all different times; when he is climbing on the top of the tank, when someone tries to climb over him, and he even chirped to let me know that he was up from his molt. It just depends on the crab, if you start to see more aggressive behavior then you should start to worry.

Re: Chirping...is it always a bad sign?
When both of my Es were alive they would chirp at each other. They were best friends, they would just sit in the corner and talk every night. I had a PP that was a chirper and squealer too, for no reason I ever found. I have since lost that PP and one of the Es though, so all has been sadly quiet.
3 PPs (Gigantor, Copycat and Spazz), 1 E (Spidey), 1 Golden Retriever (Kira), 2 Lionhead rabbits (Fuzz and Snow), 4 human babies, (5 if you count the fiance), and a partridge in a pear tree!
