This is amazing!!!! I LOOOOVVVEEEE seeing the baby pictures. When some of them grow to be real crabs (which i'm sure they will) , you need to show them their "babypictures".
I'm so excited!!! I just showed my Grandma all these pictures and she is so intrigued!
Oh and also, I thought the tank needed live coral in the tank for them to live? Maybe it would elongate their life? I don't know, you're the expert. Just a thought

Could you maybe use some needlepoint canvas? Maybe some little nerite shells glued here and there on it? Just get the smallest holes there are. I bought some needlepoint canvas today at Joanns for the crab rescue and my mainwodesorel wrote:Two part or marine epoxy works so much better and it'll be much more textured so they'll have an easier time getting traction. I attempted the silicone and sand for the fids, and I had to redo it with the epoxy. (Which was good, because it came out just like a natural sand slope.) Washing the sand you plan on using helps a lot as well as that way you've got just sand crystals sticking to the ramp rather than the too fine dust. Plexi glass will bend with the aid of one of those long-handled tube lighters, so you can do really neat things with it!
Wolf, did you ever find out just how long they should be carrying eggs for? Hubby and my mom are bugging me constantly about when Holo will drop. I told them it's like 4 or 5 weeks. I really don't care cause I'm still on daily egg check in case I missed one, but it would be nice to give them a solid answer!

I popped into the miscellaneous section for giggles, what im seeing here is blowing my mind. I have a few thoughts, have you guys with babies looked into airpump powered filters? Their useless for a large bio-load but may help you with keeping the ammonia levels down.
Edit: Just saw that wodesorel madea dyi one.

Their tails are getting so big!!!!
(Yeah, you can use the epoxy inside - I did all the epoxy work in my basement.... however, in going through that old thread looking for the pics to link I had talked about how I was sure I had posted something long and drawn out that night, but the next morning it wasn't there... so.... it leaves you loopy. And it does smell kinda bad, but the smell stayed in the basement at least!)

LOVE the pics and diagrams! This is beyond exciting! I keep telling everyone I know. I fear if they hear the word "hermit" again they shall not be converted into hermit lovers like I intend. It looks like some of them have green eyes! You are fantastic at photography. I can't wait to hear more
