When you file with paypal, does that cancel your order? I'm confused. Not automatically. What it does is alert paypal that there's a problem with the order, and they step in to mediate a solution. Sometimes that's a refund, but usually it forces the seller to communicate with the buyer directly and work out an agreed upon settlement for the order. However, the dispute has to be settled within 20 days, meaning that if LHC doesn't have the crabs to send she would have to refund the money, or they both could agree that the crabs will be sent when she has them. (However - and I could be wrong about this - I think if they both agree to wait then the purchase can't be disputed again if she never gets the crabs or something is wrong with them.)
Basically she can keep her money safe at the possible expense of the order, but if LHC is willing she could always reorder what she had to cancel.

However, I did hear from LHC today and am doing my best to regurgitate her emails to those waiting on crabs.

I hear ya as I contemplated canceling as well especially with the refunds I'm giving bc of it. He emailed this am and said he will give me flight schedules in 2 days.
Issue is, if I cancel and burn this bridge there is noone else so I'll be out of business. I'm in a rough spot
