Limp crab.

Post by Scarlz » Mon Oct 01, 2012 7:22 pm

I bought two E's from a petstore on Friday. The larger one is in a shell way too small. I put plently of shells around his size and bigger around him for him to try. Today, he stayed in the same place. I just picked him up and honestly thought he may have been dead. But no, he's a fighter. I moved him into the iso tank with food/water and his shells so he canhave some peace. Right now, he's taking a bath. But still seems kind of lathargic, anything I can do?

Offer him lots of yummy foods maybe some organic honey if you have it, it may give him a little boost of energy. Places to hide to feel safe, keep temps around 80 and humidity about 80% and try not to handle him unless absolutely neccessary. I hope he's ok.

There is the great article that someone posted about PPS. Maybe read that, it might shed some insight on your situation.

Definatly try honey and some maybe some peanut butter. I hope he pulls through.
