Armored Indo

Post by Jennybecca » Thu Dec 27, 2012 5:41 pm

Pardon my ignorance but can anyone please explain to me, in detail, what an “armored Indo” looks like, and what the difference between a ‘regular’ Indo and an ‘armored’ one is ??????

Armored Indos are the bigger older ones that have a more scaly look to them with big nodules where the hair comes out. As far as we know they are not a separate species, just a color variation like the pink indos. There is normally a wide variation between individuals of any species, and we tend to want to label the outliers when we find them. :)

Some might call it that, though the ones I've seen called "armored" have those white bumps completely covering the BP and all the legs.
