Bad news today. :(

Yesterday I had 24 Megalopas, 12 separated and 12 together in one container.
Today all of the separated are dead and 3 of the other ones. :(

I suspect the krill, which I feed yesterday. That was the only think different to the last days and it looked foul today.
All megalopa got some krill, but considering the amount the 12 (which are together in one container) got, it was only twice of the amount that one of the separated megalopa got.

I'll do the best for the left 9. No krill any more! I have enough other food.
5 Indos, 4 Violas, 1 Rugs, 1 E, 5 adult PPs and about 22 breeding's of PPs!
Some other breeding's also, which species is yet not confirmed.

That's too sad :(

I found the krill fouled up my water quickly as well, and they wouldn't let go of it for me to take it out, sometimes they would hold onto it for the whole day.

7 now! I still have some hope. :)
They still show interest in houses, but they are only explore them with the 'wrong' end (head into the house :innocent: ).
Some are trying to walk on the ground.

Still 6! Since some days all are trying to get into shells. :)

I have some - not very sharp - pictures:

This is the container with a little island:

And two of the Megalopas, one in a shell an one eating.

Day 41!

5, maybe 6 Megalopa leftover, four of them stay in their shells since a few days. :)

Due to the fact that my spider died a month ago, I started to make a new home for the 'shelled' Megalopas:

Yesterday one of the little ones got near the water surface:

Today the first four Megalopas moved to the new home. This bowl of the spoon is 4 cm long (~1.57 inch)!

Here is this little one together with one of it's buddies.

Picture puzzle: Find the 4 moving shells! ;)

There is nothing cuter than a teeny tiny crab in a teeny tiny shell. I'm so exited for you! Good luck!!

They are walking up and down through the water surface. Non is staying at land for long. I can still see three Megalopas, maybe there are more hidden in houses.

Sry, no new pictures. It's really hart to make photos through the water surface. Image
