It has recently been brought to my attention that Ecuadorian crabs are quite special in their space requirements and do not follow the standard "gallons of space per crab" formula; specifically, I've learned that they need at least 40 gallons to thrive. To anyone who helped point this out to me, thank you very much - I'm happy I was made aware of this sooner rather than later.
