Don't force him out, wait for him to come out on your palm with a camera ready. If not, a picture of him in his shell will do just to have a better idea on the brokenness of the little fella. If his "head" is missing then maybe you're seeing his eaten exo?

Sorry I don't know how he is because I hid him from view so I wasn't tempted to look at him. He is VERY stressed and I think I have been too rough with him. I didn't know it would be such a problem. But now I know. I won't touch him. If anyone has input on this please comment. I think I put all of this stress on him. And I think he has a very low chance of making it. ImageImage. Should I check to see if he climbed back into his shell? I have a feeling he didn't, but should I check to make sure?

If you have a little cup or bowl you can very gently put him in there with his shell and give him honey and peanut butter and his exo. Try feeding him honey and PB with a qtip if he is too weak to feed himself. Keep him ISO'd and if he doesn't reshell you may need to rinse a slightly too large shell in FW and dip his abdomen in FW real quick and very very carefully poke his rear into the shell. He may have a piece of exo irritating him from the molt.
