So I went to Petco to check out the $1/gal sale. Awesome! Came home with ten new teenies... Admitting you have a problem is the fist step right?5 PP's 5 E's. so cute!

Thank goodness you guys understand, nobody else does. My husband thinks I'm crazy. I tell myself I won't buy more because I don't want to support the trade and then I do anyway. And they were all so tiny I couldn't leave any behind! I tried the "discount for buying so many?" Trick - to no avail. I can't wait to spoil them rotten!

Awww I was at Petco today and had to check them out as well and they were completely out of both types of water I let the manager know and he explained they keep it low so none drown and he thanked me and promptly refilled it (I saw him do it right away). Made me sad though Poor babies were gathering in the empty dish. If I had room I would be getting more!

That's good they were prompt in getting them some water. My Petco actually keeps them in decent conditions: 80 degrees 75% humidity, EE, salt and fresh water. My ten little newbies seem happy in their iso but not as desperate as some I've rescued before from horrible conditions. They are super fun to watch!!

How fun. We don't have a Petco or any franchised pet store around. A few of the local mom & pop stores around here have PPs, but they are all in horrible set-ups. Makes me sad.

If you need shells for teenies check Joann, I bought a bag of shells for $12.99 and it had TONS of tiny turbo shells. Unfortunately I can't use them cause my crabs are bigger
