Had to part with my Hermit crabs.

Post by Barbydoll » Wed Sep 03, 2014 11:20 am

Well I no longer have my beautiful Purple Pinchers. My family had to move out of Oklahoma and move all the way to Georgia. I couldnt take my Hermit Crabs with me. I ended up giving the entire set up, tank and stand, foods, and crabs to a friend I worked with who had Teenagers. This was so hard to part with them. Charger was my favorite. I hope all 5 will be happy in their new home. I spent 5 years learning everything there was to know about Hermit crabs and have referred friends and kids to this site who have them. Because I know this site is the #1 best around to educate them. One day I will be back. I probably wont go above a 20 gallon next time. And no more than 4 PP's. One day. Til then, God Bless you all and See you around one day. Take care of your crabs- they are such wonderful creatures.

HI My name is Barbie. We have only 5 of our PP's left of 13. We lost some of them. These were/are (boys) Max, Squirtle, Rocky, Mr Pinch, and Bandit. (girls) Stripe, Silver, Charger, Peekaboo and Tiny. We lost either Mr Pinch or Squirtle- not sure which, they were so much alike, and (for sure) Max, Stripe, Tiny, Peekaboo and Bandit. We have 2 Cats: Tassy and our Kittem Skittles. We have an old dog Molly who is going deaf and blind. RIP: cat Dusty who lived to be 18 yr old, and Cat Jazzy of 10 yrs who died August 2012.
