I haven't posted to this forum since it went down temporarily, but I just wanted to share about my molting success. My PP, Delta, was in extreme need of a molt. He was missing a leg from stress (pet store issues), and I knew he was going to molt eventually. This is him before he molted:
One day, he went missing and I immediately knew what was happening. I used the soda-bottle method to make sure the other crabs didn't hurt him. Two and a half weeks later, he showed up above ground with a whole new leg:

He looks great! In the future just be aware that you don't have to isolate crabs for molting if they've buried in your tank and have plenty of sub and space. It's best to just let them do their own thing, they know what to do.

I'll be sure to do that! I just get really worried about them sometimes. Apparently I've been doing the wrong thing to protect them. Thanks for letting me know!soilentgringa wrote:He looks great!
