One of my little tribe decided to molt right against the tank glass this morning! How cool! He's about six inches down in the sub, freshly molted, all slick and light pink with the exo intact next to him. If you look closely at the photo you can clearly see one of his shield legs with the pointy nail. The white blob on the right is the exo. Couldn't get a better photo without disturbing him, but the exo was still perfectly crab shaped. Very awesome to see this!

I would cover the spot with a post it note or dark paper taped to glass to give the crab some darkness so not to stress him while he hardens.
