Caught you Waldo
Caught you Waldo
Waldo is exploring the tunnel under the clock tower.
I'm found out this weekend I had a flood in my tank. So this is awesome to see all the sand being moved around. Waldo is the biggest crab in my tank. But the hardest to find.

I needed to add coconut substrate. And I was trying to do it a little at a time. I noticed that the fountain was going threw massive amounts of water. So I was inspecting and doing standard maintince on my tank. I dug 3 inches to test my sand and water started to pool. So pissed off my colony by waking them up and moving them to my 10 gallon Iso. There was a lot of attitude in the antennas. So for two hours I was elbow deep adding more substrate. It was a easy enough fix. But I had to redo the fountains. I an glad I was able to redo it and make it more suitable for the big crabs. I had some large rocks buried under the sand and I didn't realize how much space they took up. So circumstances be darned. I am happy with the remodel.kornchaser wrote:D'awe, Waldo

Definitely raised the tank temp. But my humidity is always like 99% even with a 4 inch opening for air. I'm not sure if it could be a problem. Besides rot, mild dew and mold. I don't want it to cause any of it health problems for the crabs.
Any suggestions?
Also I don't know if can insulate my UTH. It is a blue spot. I got 3 off amazon.
