Ant infested tank might be chemical releasing ants
I clean my hermits tank often but I discovered and the when killed release some weird smell my Hermie seems fine but I don't wanna risk it what can I do for my pp crab

If ants are in the substrate you will have to completely clean the tank out and replace it.

I am in the process but I got the substrate from the previous owner as well as the tank and well I'm broke The moment so I am cleaning it with scolding hot water

What kind of substrate are you using? You may be able to bake it.

A picture could help. Or google 'coconut fiber', 'sand', 'eco earth' or 'bark chips' and see if it looks like any of the above.Killer11011 wrote:Not sure
